Robins’ Nest, one of our favorite local charities, always goes above and beyond to change the lives they impact through their work. One of the special ways they achieve this is through their ‘Santa’s Workshop Toy Collection’. For over 22 years, they have been making holidays a little brighter through this program.

Santa’s Workshop Toy Collection – About

Robins’ Nest started Santa’s Workshop over twenty years ago as a way to embrace the ‘season of giving’. As they share on their website, “ We believe that every child deserves to experience the wonder and awe of the holiday season.”

From this belief, they collect toys and gifts for the children they serve so that they have a present to open during the holidays. Generosity throughout the community and Robins’ Nest is what makes the ‘workshop’ possible. Without a doubt, it brings joy to so many children. They collect gifts for children of all ages, ranging from infants to teens.

Santa’s Workshop Toy Drive 2018

This year, participation in the toy drive has grown so that they now have two locations for the wokshops – one in Glassboro, NJ and one in Atlantic County. As a result, families and children who live closer to the Jersey Shore will be able to easier participate in Santa’s Workshop. In 2018, gifts will be collected from November 5th through December 5th.  The workshops will be held December 11-13th.

Robins’ Nest will be needing ‘Holiday Cheer Volunteers’ to assist Santa in the following areas:

  1. Toy Inventory / Sorting
  2. Workshop Helpers
  3. Toy Clean up Organize
