We’re teaming up with the United Way of Gloucester County, The Board of County Commissioners-County of Gloucester Human Service Advisory Council and the People for People Foundation to collect as much food as we can possibly fit into our 16 foot Box Truck! Read on to find out how you can be a part of Gloucester County Cares About Hunger Food Drive, a community-wide event that runs from Monday Februrary 21 through Sunday February 27th.

In typical Nancy Kowalik style, we’re celebrating the Holidays with our clients. If you were on Main Street Mullica Hill early last December, you’ll remember seeing lighted balloons and decorations at 46 N Main St. The VIP Client Holiday Party was a huge success!

We’re excited that this year’s party is going to held, but with Covid-19 Requirements, just like we did last year. There will be a tent outside for dining. We will be limiting the number of indoor guest in our office building to comply with Covid-19 Restrictions. We will also ask that guests wear masks when they are in common areas and not eating or drinking.

Picture Yourself Down The Shore by winning a trip from Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group. Saturday, June 5, 2021 is a special day in Mullica Hill, where the town will be celebrating Harrison Township Day! Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group is a key sponsor of the event and will be hosting a Photo Booth and Drawing on Saturday Evening with the theme “Picture Yourself Down The Shore.”

NKREG’s Pack the Truck Food Drive was a great success!

Mullica Hill, NJ-Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group participated in the United Way’s 16th Annual Gloucester County Cares About Hunger Food Drive. Using our recently purchased box truck, we “Packed the Truck” with as much non-perishable food, personal hygiene products and pet food as possible. This food drive ran from Monday, February 22 and ended on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

We collected OVER a TON of FOOD! Final weight of all the food collected in the Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group truck came to 2,196 pounds which will provide 1,830 meals! Considering the weather, which was relentless rain on both Saturday and Sunday, we’re very happy with that number. This number is a benchmark for the future Food Drives we expect to have.

What is even more incredible are the final results: According to the United Way and the Food Bank of Gloucester County, this event collected 6,608.30 lbs of food, raised over $8,000 and were able to provide 29,749 meals to Gloucester County Residents raising their total meal count by 14,402 (from the 2020 meal count of 15,347.)

Imagine not knowing where your next meal will come from or how you’ll feed your family. What would you do? Sadly, hunger is a year-round issue for more than 200,000 South Jersey residents who are currently food insecure. Children who come home from school to an empty plate. Seniors make the difficult choice of whether to eat or pay for medicine. Families that don’t have enough to pay bills and keep three meals on the table. Local food pantries provide a needed safety net for those who are dealing with this painful situation. After the holiday season and through COVID-19, many pantries find they are depleted, and we need your help to stock the shelves with food to reduce hunger in South Jersey.

Gifting Acenda NKREG (Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group) did it again! This has become a tradition for Nancy and the Team at NKREG and every year it gets bigger!

Every year Nancy Kowalik and her team donate to their philanthropic choice, Acenda Integrated Health (formerly Robin’s Nest, Inc.)They do it by taking a portion from each transaction they settle and keeping it for Acenda.
