Responsiveness. We interviewed ~12 different agents as we looked at homes throughout the area. When we called Nancy, she dropped her plans for the Saturday afternoon with ~2 hours notice to show us 3 homes, including our ultimate purchase. We were so impressed with the speed and flexibility she demonstrated for us despite a heavy client load. Throughout the entire process of the purchase until closing, Nancy demonstrated these same qualities, and we felt like we were her ONLY customers whenever we reached out to her. Her attention to customer needs cannot be matched for those looking for a high level of service.
Expertise. Nancy’s experience on her local planning board served us well. Nancy addressed zoning and storm water drainage concerns of our house by navigating the town’s planning and engineering departments to get the answers to our questions. Her experience guiding us through the post-home inspection process as well as her negotiation skills netted us significant improvements and fixes to our purchase, all paid for by the seller.
Attention to detail. Nancy helped negotiate a detailed and complicated counter-offer from the sellers. She caught every detail to ensure the contract sufficiently protected us. She explained contract elements to a level that helped us feel comfortable with the process, demonstrating her expertise and experience. She accurately valued our property, helped us shape our offer accordingly, and got us a property for almost $40k less than the appraisal.
Nancy served her previous employer as the expert who trained all of the new or old agents coming into the business. She brought that expertise into her own agency.
