Celebrate a Fall Tradition at the 28th Annual Blackwood Pumpkin Festival

Blackwood New Jersey comes alive on the first Sunday of October with entertainers, vendors, shoppers and families who converge on the area for the Blackwood Pumpkin Festival.  This tradition began in 1992, and this year marks its 28th year. Over the years, hundreds of thousands of visitors have attended. The festival, a fund raiser for Mainstage Center for the Arts (MCA), takes place Sunday, October 6th, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in and around the area of MCA’s Performing Arts Academy, 27 S. Black Horse Pike, with the Black Horse Pike closed from the intersection of Church Road through Lake Avenue. The rain date is Sunday, October 13th.

New to the festival this year is a Flying Fish Beer Garden located behind the Blackwood Library and axe throwing hosted by Choppers Hatchet House of Cherry Hill.  Festival favorites still include amusements, food, music, shopping, live entertainment, pumpkin painting, hayrides, moon bounces, a petting zoo, face painting, and scarecrow building.  Visit www.mainstage.org to learn details about the costume contests, puppy parades, talent contest, pumpkin carving and baking contest.

Night of Terror at Creamy Acres

Located at Creamy Acres Farms, in Mullica Hill, NJ; Night of Terror is the Philadelphia / South Jersey area’s premier haunted attraction. 6 Haunted Attractions include 2 haunted houses, award-winning Ride of Terror haunted hayride, 2 outside walk through attractions and haunted corn maze.

Also on location, is the Haunted Paintball Ride. Shoot at scenes, props and Live Zombies from the safety of your wagon ride seat.

The Harvest
Harvest is our newest attraction at Night of Terror! An ode to New Jersey and the traditional idea of the “Haunt”, Harvest takes it back to where it all began. Cornfields, swamps and broken-down buses are some of the places you will find all of our evil creatures of the night. Even the farm animals get into the terror. Among all of the scary things lurking in the darkness, keep an eye out for the Jersey Devil who has found its new home in this attraction. To our visitors, don’t be fooled by the familiar feeling you get once you enter the Harvest. There are terrifying surprises at every turn!
